Nature Art Club

For kids ages 4+

Inspired by our daughter's beautiful nature-driven art, we are hosting a regular meet up for kids to connect with the earth, play, and create freely together. Each session, we will have a nature influenced project for kids to work on. Our goal is to hold this bi-monthly, as our scheduled allows! First club meeting will be Friday, June 27th at 4pm. Upcoming project schedule

June 27th - Clay painting + Mud Cloths
We will be mixing our own paint with various soil types including red clay and creating beautiful works of art! Painting with "tools" we can collect in the woods + making patterned designs on cloth.

July 25th - Nature's design
We will be celebrating our beautiful deciduous forest in mid-summer by collecting and identifying leaves and making silhouette paintings and sun prints + tree bark rubbings

August 8th - Plant dyes
We will be oooing and ahhing over the beautiful colors nature provides by doing simple extraction projects to make non-toxic play dough + fabric flower pounding
